Events (2) and (3) prevented by the pandemic but WE WILL BE BACK!
2021 GOALS REVISED DUE TO PANDEMIC. THESE ARE THE NEW GOALS.
Develop Two shows For Post-Pandemic Production. "Develop" means casting is done, character analyses have been conducted, the show is safely and thoroughly rehearsed and the cast is off-book. (The show is ready to go except set and blocking). EXCEEDED. Three shows ready to go: (1) Independence (2) The White Rose (3) Stop Kiss.
Develop One Learning Event. EXCEEDED: "Directing: Art and Skill (June) and "Movement For Stage" (September).
4 in 12 - COVID has made it impossible to safely produce live events. Even so, we are determined that the years of COVID not be wasted. We developed a totally safe rehearsal process and have brought three shows to the brink of production. We also developed a learning event (Movement for Stage). It is ready to go when it is safe to convene. We consider the goal of four events in twelve months to have been met and a solid accomplishment under the circumstances.
Replace the vacancy for a set designer/builder. DONE January.
Find an insurance carrier that specializes in events. DONE March.
Develop One Learning Event. IN PROGRESS: (Character Development.)
Apply for at least one grant. LOOKING FOR OFFERINGS.
Research replacement page builder software. IN PROGRESS Narrowed down to two candidates.
Write and approve three governing policies. NOT STARTED.
Define the duties of the Marketing Committee and appoint a department chair. NOT STARTED
